BUFFALO, N.Y., June 10, 2026 – Molina Healthcare of New York (“Molina”) cut the ribbon on its newest Community Service Center (CSC) in Buffalo. The location will serve as a place to connect members and residents to community resources and for Molina members to receive in-person assistance with benefits.
The center is located in a culturally diverse area, home to immigrant populations from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and India. Many South Asian communities face higher rates of diabetes, heart disease, and hypertension. These disparities make culturally competent outreach, language access, preventive screenings, and community-based healthcare engagement especially important. To better serve members and visitors, Molina has staffed the CSC with team members that speak multiple languages. Removing language and cultural barriers enables individuals to access the care they need in communities with historically disparate health outcomes.
“The City of Buffalo proudly congratulates Molina Healthcare on the grand opening of its new Bailey Avenue office,” said Mitch Nowakowski, councilmember for Buffalo Common Council’s Fillmore District. “This investment reflects a strong commitment to expanding access to quality healthcare services while supporting the needs of Buffalo’s growing South Asian community. As our city continues to become more diverse and vibrant, partnerships like this help ensure that residents from all backgrounds have access to the resources and care they deserve. We welcome Molina Healthcare to the neighborhood and look forward to the positive impact this new office will have on families throughout Buffalo.”
This is Molina’s second CRC in Buffalo. The first opened last year last year at the Tri-Main Center. Both locations were chosen to support traditionally underserved populations.
“This may be a one-stop center, but it’s not one-size-fits all,” said Joiel Alexander-Ray, AVP of growth and community engagement for Molina Healthcare. “The services Molina provides are tailored to the needs of members and are specific to this community. As part of our holistic approach to wellness, we partner with community organizations to ensure our members and visitors connect with the resources they need, in a way that meets them where they are.”
As part of the celebration, Molina honored two Community Champions Award winners – Mohammed Siddiqui, the owner of Madina Pharmacy, and Navid Siddiqui, a physical therapist at Jericho Road Community Health. Both have served the South Asian community in Buffalo, reducing language and cultural barriers to care.
