LOUISVILLE, Ky, April 29, 2021The MolinaCares Accord, in collaboration with Passport Health Plan by Molina Healthcare, was proud to be the presenting sponsor of Goodwill Industries of Kentucky’s inaugural Second Chance Conference, an event that featured a series of workshops focused on creating meaningful second chance employment opportunities for Kentuckians who are ready to rebuild their lives after incarceration.

The conference, held in honor of National Second Chance Month, included workshops focused on helping people across the state with criminal records successfully pursue career opportunities as well as guiding business leaders to become second chance employers.

Nicole Yates, associate vice president of Passport Health Plan by Molina Healthcare, spoke virtually to more than 300 participants from across the United States on the importance of helping individuals reintegrate into society, so they can live healthy, productive lives.

“At MolinaCares, we believe in the power of second chances and that your past does not define your future,” said Yates. “We are proud to support Goodwill and all agencies who are making a positive impact in creating equal opportunities for all Kentuckians, regardless of their background.”
