LAS VEGAS, May 23, 2023 – The MolinaCares Accord (“MolinaCares”), in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Nevada (“Molina”), recently presented $50,000 to Hope Christian Health Center, as part of $1.2 million in community reinvestment grants dedicated to addressing health disparities for at-risk populations in Clark and Washoe Counties.
The grant to Hope Christian Health Center will be used to cover costs for the call center, which makes proactive calls to assigned patients in vulnerable populations to establish care, schedule appointments, remind them of appointments and more.
“MolinaCares is committed to making an impact and improving the health and well-being of those in the communities we serve,” said Rob Baughman, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Nevada. “We are proud to partner with Hope Christian Health Center to support the call center, which reaches out to underserved individuals to ensure they get the care they need.”
