BOSTON, September 14, 2021 – The Molina Healthcare Charitable Foundation, in
collaboration with Senior Whole Health by Molina Healthcare (“Molina”), donated $12,500
to the Greater Boston Food Bank to help alleviate food insecurity in local communities
surrounding Boston.


“Food insecurity has been on the rise in our communities since the pandemic began,”
said Maya King, assistant manager of community engagement at the Greater Boston
Food Bank. “We are immensely grateful for Molina and their generous support to help us
feed those in need.”


In addition to the donation, 32 employees of Senior Whole Health by Molina Healthcare
showed up on two different days to volunteer at the Food Bank.


“With so many Boston families enduring such a difficult year, Molina is honored to support
the community,” said Milena Couto, regional marketplace health insurance manager at
Molina Healthcare. “We are committed to doing all we can to fight food insecurity and give
Bostonians access to the essentials they need to maintain good health and well-being.”
