MolinaCares and Many Mothers

MolinaCares is proud to support Many Mothers with a $25,000 donation through its MolinaCares for Families initiative to improve access to care across New Mexico. This MolinaCares donation will increase bilingual capacity and provide direct wraparound services for Spanish-speaking families at Many Mothers’ New Resilient Parenting Center. Watch a video highlighting the services provided through the grant and impact this partnership will have on families in the Santa Fe area:

According to New Mexico Department of Health data, minority women are more likely to forgo postnatal care, a critical time for ensuring the health of mothers and their babies. This funding will enable Many Mothers to allot additional hours to its Home Visitor program, which provides direct in-home services to Spanish-speaking families. It will also help to recruit and train additional Spanish-speaking volunteers and provide expanded doula and navigation support to families in Santa Fe.

“As a mother, this partnership is very near and dear to my heart. One of the most pressing issues for New Mexicans is access to care, especially maternal and child health care. We are honored to partner with an incredible organization like Many Mothers to help provide resources directly to new mothers and babies.”
