Molina Takes Part in Walk for Suicide Prevention

The MolinaCares Accord in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Florida participated in the Out of the Darkness Walk in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention at Baldwin Park in Orlando. The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope, and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.”

Molina Healthcare of Florida employee volunteers have participated and hosted the walk for the past six years and will be joining many organizations which provide counseling and support services in the community. Molina has made addressing serious mental illness a top priority, by looking at the entire person, treating both the mind and body as a whole.
