Molina Healthcare of Washington Partners with Skagit Regional Health Foundation in Support of Improved Access to Care

MOUNT VERNON, Wash., Oct. 29, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Washington (“Molina”) recently partnered with Skagit Regional Health Foundation in support of the Foundation’s Family Birth Center Campaign.
Molina donated $5,000 to Skagit Regional Health Foundation. The grant aims to support the renovation of 21 private maternity suites at Skagit Regional Health’s Family Birth Center. The newly remodeled rooms are designed to be a welcoming, spacious environment where the care team can provide support to moms and their newborns. The project also includes important safety and security upgrades to the unit. Construction will be completed at the end of 2025.
“We are grateful for companies like Molina that share our vision for improving access to care in Washington,” said Linda Frizzell, executive director, at Skagit Regional Health Foundation. “This grant helps us ensure safe, quality care and provides the resources needed to give babies and moms a healthy start.”
Since summer of 2024, the Foundation has raised more than half of their $1.6 million goal needed to transform care for families giving birth at Skagit Regional Health’s Family Birth Center.
