Molina Healthcare of Washington Grants $15,000 to CHAS Health to Support Health Care Workforce

SEATTLE, Wash., June 11, 2026 — Molina Healthcare of Washington (“Molina”) presented a $15,000 grant to Community Health Association of Spokane (“CHAS Health”) to enhance the health care workforce in eastern Washington through the CHAS Health Learning Institute.
“Community health requires a holistic approach to meet the needs of patients in our community,” said Kelley Charvet, chief administrative officer at CHAS Health. “With Molina’s funding, CHAS Health will be better able to serve the community by supporting health care career paths that directly impact Spokane County patients.”
Funding for the CHAS Health Learning Institute will support health care workforce training, including dental, medical, and pharmacy technician apprenticeship programs, as well as nurse practitioner and pharmacy residency programs, and ongoing staff training.
