Molina Healthcare of Texas Presents $20,000 to NAMI in Support of Mental Health Resources

FORT WORTH, Tex., April 1, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas (“Molina”) presented a check for $20,000 to National Alliance on Mental Illness (“NAMI”) in support of their efforts to improve the lives of people living with mental illness.

“Molina is proud to support the great work NAMI is doing to advocate for individuals dealing with mental illness, as well as their loved ones,” said Chris Coffey, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Texas. “This grant will help educate and support Texans experiencing behavioral health issues so they can access the care and resources they need.”

NAMI Texas offers various education and support programs through the State of Texas, bringing awareness about mental illness and the opportunity for recovery.

“Molina has been a longtime partner of NAMI Texas,” said Dr. Naomi Alvarez, associate vice president of behavioral health at Molina Healthcare of Texas. “We are grateful for the opportunities we’ve had to collaborate and are pleased to provide this support to this valued organization.”
