Molina Healthcare of Texas Joins Community Partners for Fall Prevention Events in Harris and Tarrant Counties

KINGWOOD, Tex. and FOREST HILL, Tex., September 26, 2024 – Molina Healthcare of Texas recently participated in two fall prevention events designed to give seniors the information and resources they need to prevent falls that could affect their health and well-being.
Molina joined with community partners in Kingwood at a free event for seniors in Harris County. The event featured safety tips, exercise activities to improve strength and balance, and more. Breakfast and snacks were provided, as well as free flu vaccinations. Raffle prizes included the following: motion sensor bed alarm, non-slip rubber shower mats, anti-slip socks.
Molina Healthcare of Texas’ Grandparents Social Club hosted an educational event on fall prevention in Forest Hill. This free event offered seniors in Tarrant County practical tips, balancing exercises, and much more. Healthy snacks and prizes were also included.
