Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Zumba Dance Party for Seniors in Edinburg in Honor of Mental Health Awareness Month
EDINBURG, Tex., May 20, 2024 – Molina Healthcare of Texas recently hosted a Zumba dance class for seniors from La Stella Senior Independent Living in Edinburg, as part of Molina’s Grandparents Social Club and in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month.
Dancing is known to elevate not only mood, but also heart rate. The event aimed to promote positive mental health and quality of life while reducing risk factors such as social isolation and loneliness. It also featured a healthy snacks station, health and wellness raffle prizes, giveaways, smoothies and more.
