Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Vision Screening Event for Seniors in Laredo

LAREDO, Tex., July 15, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas Grandparents Social Club hosted a vision health awareness event and vision screenings for local seniors at the Fernando Salinas Community Center.
Vision screenings are an essential part of preventative health care, helping to detect age-related vision problems early and ensure optimal eye health. As people age, the risk of developing eye diseases increases, making regular screenings critical for maintaining independence, safety, and quality of life.
This free event, held in honor of Healthy Vision Month, aimed to empower seniors with the tools they need to recognize changes in their vision and warning signs that may indicate the need to seek care. The event included an informative presentation and educational resources.
