Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Vision Health Awareness Event for Seniors in Alton

ALTON, Tex., July 29, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas Grandparents Social Club hosted Healthy Vision – Vibrant Life, a vision health awareness event for senior members of the Alton Recreation Center.
This free event aimed to provide seniors information and resources to better manage and maintain the health of their eyes. Participants learned about common age-related eye conditions like cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration—and how early detection can make all the difference.
After the presentation, attendees participated in a guided painting session focused on eye health awareness. Vision health for seniors is vital to independence, safety, and quality of life. This event was not just about vision health awareness, but also empowering seniors with knowledge, creativity, and community.
