HOUSTON, Aug. 29, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas and valued community partners hosted a series of virtual events throughout the month of August educating mothers on the powerful long-term health benefits – for mother and child – of breastfeeding, including lowering the risk of breast cancer.

Held in recognition of National Breastfeeding Awareness Month, together with BakerRipley, Buckner Family Hope Center, Healing Hearts with Helping Hands, and the Native Health Center, these free events provided a way to reach mothers across the city, including those in underserved communities that may have limited access to in-person support.

Through events such as these, Molina and its partners aim to empower mothers with the knowledge, resources and support they need to help their families thrive. With this and other initiatives, Molina continues to invest in healthier futures for Texans across the region.
