Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Tree Decorating Celebration for Seniors in Tyler

TYLER, Tex., Dec. 17, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas and Tyler Senior Center hosted a holiday celebration for seniors in Tyler. The free event featured festive fun and community connections.

Local seniors came together to trim the tree, share memories, and spread holiday cheer. The festivities continued with a gift-wrapping social, where participants were able to wrap gifts they brought, while enjoying lively conversation, and holiday music.

According to the National Institute on Aging, nearly one in four older adults report feeling isolated during the holidays — a factor that can significantly affect overall health. This event aimed to help seniors stay socially active and emotionally supported by providing some holiday cheer and fellowship.
