TEXARKANA, Tex., Dec. 26, 2026 – Molina Healthcare of Texas and Collins Senior Center hosted a holiday celebration for seniors in Texarkana. The free event featured fun and community connections.

Local seniors came together to share lively conversations, enjoy holiday music, and play festive games. The event also featured a discussion on seasonal depression, including practical tips to stay socially engaged and maintain a positive mood throughout the winter months.

According to the National Institute on Aging, nearly one in four older adults report feeling isolated during the holidays — a factor that can significantly affect overall health. This event aimed to help seniors stay socially active and emotionally supported by providing some holiday cheer and fellowship.
