Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Family Meal Planning Event in El Paso

EL PASO, Tex., Sept. 16, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas Moms Club, together with Common Threads, hosted a meal planning event for families at the Gonzalez Park Apartments in El Paso.
This free event, Cooking Together – Simple Meal Planning for Families, featured interactive cooking demonstrations and practical tips for planning affordable, nutritious meals. Parents and their children enjoyed an educational event designed to make healthy eating fun and easy.
One in five children in the U.S. are affected by obesity, often linked to poor nutrition and meal habits. This event aimed to give participants the tools and information they need to make healthy choices to help their families thrive.
Participants also received resources and ideas to bring healthier habits into their homes. Giveaways were included. At the conclusion of the event, six families received a food box.
