Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Fall Prevention Event for Seniors in Edinburg

EDINBURG, Tex., Sept. 16, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas’ Grandparents Social Club hosted a fun but informative fall prevention event for seniors at La Stella Senior Living in Edinburg.

Designed to promote wellness in aging adults, the event provided a safe, enjoyable space for seniors to learn practical fall prevention strategies, while participating in an art activity that encouraged storytelling and connection.

There was a brief presentation, followed by a short movement session focused on balance, mobility and home safety. Then, attendees took part in a painting activity – decorating clay pots, using art as a way to express themselves.

Participants were invited to share stories related to gardening, family and their cultural heritage, fostering a time of community. Light refreshments were served. The event also included raffle prizes.
