TYLER, Tex., Oct. 17, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas and Disciple Place Village hosted Boo to Bad Breath, a dental health awareness event for seniors in Tyler.

Oral health is a critical part of overall wellness for seniors. In Texas, around 61% of adults aged 65 and older visit a dentist annually. Approximately 13% have no natural teeth and 31% are missing six or more teeth.

Designed to provide seniors practical tips for maintaining oral health while enjoying a touch of seasonal fun, the event offered helpful information about proper dental care, plus fun opportunities for connecting with others in the community. Attendees had the chance to participate in festive cupcake decorating to celebrate the fall season.
