Molina Healthcare of Texas Hosts Child Safety and First Aid Event in Rio Grande Valley

RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Tex., June 27, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas Moms Club, together with Easter Seals Rio Grande Valley, hosted a child safety and first aid event at the Family Resource Center Starr Co.

This free event aimed to empower parents and caregivers with the skills and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations.

Accidents happen when we least expect them. Being prepared can make all the difference. This training taught attendees to stay calm, act quickly, and potentially save a life by equipping them with essential life-saving techniques.

The workshop included information on the following topics:

What to do in an emergency
How to keep children safe
First aid

Attendees received first aid kits and sunscreen. Light snacks were also provided.
