TEXAS – May 13, 2026 — In celebration of National Volunteer Month in April, employees from Molina Healthcare of Texas came together throughout the month to support community partners and help address food insecurity across multiple areas in the state.

Across Jefferson, Harris, Dallas, Tarrant, El Paso, Bexar, and Hidalgo counties, Molina team members volunteered their time and energy at food banks and community organizations serving seniors, families, and individuals experiencing homelessness.

In Jefferson County, Molina employees prepared senior food boxes for distribution at the Southeast Texas Food Bank, helping ensure older adults have access to nutritious meals. In Harris County, volunteers supported Mesa Outreach during a drive‑through food pantry distribution, assisting families facing food access challenges.

Additional volunteer efforts took place in Dallas, where employees partnered with Wheatland United Methodist Church to assemble 150 lunches for the local homeless population. In Tarrant County, Molina volunteers supported the Community Crossroads Food Pantry, helping provide essential food supplies to families in need.

“By giving our time, energy, and support to causes that can impact individuals across Texas, we believe that we can make a difference and build stronger communities,” said Molina Healthcare of Texas COO Kelsey Letcher. “These volunteer efforts reflect our culture of service and our commitment to supporting our most vulnerable neighbors — one life at a time.”

Molina Healthcare of Texas remains committed to improving the health and well‑being of the communities it serves, not only through healthcare services but also through meaningful community engagement and volunteerism.
