AUSTIN, TEXAS, Nov. 24, 2025 — Molina Healthcare of Texas (“Molina”) has donated $50,000 to Feeding Texas to support Texans who are struggling with food insecurity as the holiday season approaches.

“The recent government shutdown forced many Texans to turn to food banks for help,” said Celia Cole, CEO of Feeding Texas, the state association of food banks.  “The need continues as we strive to meet the increased demand from Texans experiencing financial uncertainty. We are grateful for Molina’s support and their commitment to improving access to critical resources.”

The Feeding Texas network is the largest hunger-relief organization in Texas. Together with 20 food banks, the organization reaches over four million Texans annually with food and resources.

“We are grateful for partners like Feeding Texas that share our passion for bringing nutritious food to underserved populations and advocating for hunger solutions,” said Chris Coffey, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Texas. “We are thrilled to be a part of the great work they are doing to help end hunger in Texas.”
