Molina Healthcare of Texas and The Family Self Sufficiency Program Host Stress Awareness and Financial Planning Workshop for Families in Beaumont
BEAUMONT, Tex., March 31, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Texas, together with The Family Self Sufficiency (FSS) Program, hosted a stress awareness and financial planning workshop for families in Beaumont. Attendees gained valuable insights into making smart financial decisions, maximizing their food budgets while still maintaining a nutritious diet, and reducing stress.
During the event, participants learned how to create affordable meal plans, identified cost-effective healthy food options, and practiced mindfulness techniques to manage everyday stress. In addition, attendees received information on community resources available including the Beaumont FSS Program, a program geared toward helping participants obtain education and job training. They also had the opportunity to create a vision board to inspire them on their journey to self-sufficiency.
Each participant received the book, “Pregnant Girl,” the story of a teen mom who went to college and thrived with her young family.
