Molina Healthcare of South Carolina Donation to Family Health Centers Will Provide Care for Underserved Families in the Lowcountry

ORANGEBURG, S.C., August 22, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of South Carolina (“Molina”) announced a $3,000 donation to the Family Health Centers ICARE Fund. The gift was presented to the organization at Family Health Center’s fundraising kickoff campaign event. The ICARE Fund ensures patients receive the care they need regardless of their ability to pay.
Molina’s donation will help non-insured or underinsured individuals access critical medications. The Fund also provides preventive screenings, mental health care, and dental services for lower income families. Data show 31.5% of Orangeburg residents had an income below the poverty level in 2023, more than twice as high as poverty rates across South Carolina.
