COLUMBUS, OHIO, August 6, 2020 – For a limited time, Molina Healthcare of Ohio is offering its Medicaid members three months of Amazon Prime to better serve its members through expedited, free delivery of everyday essentials, including groceries in select cities, and digital entertainment – music, movies and TV shows (including kids & family programming), e-books, and more. The COVID-19 pandemic has increased the resource needs of communities across Ohio, and while Ohioans continue to physically distance and proceed through a phased reopening, this benefit provides members with an option to shop online for the groceries and household items they need to support their health and wellbeing.

“Molina Healthcare is committed to improving the health and lives of those we serve,” said Ami Cole, president of Molina Healthcare of Ohio. “We feel that Amazon Prime can facilitate access to proper nutrition and household goods, while offering general conveniences for our valued members. Having food and other necessities delivered removes what may be a significant barrier – access to transportation. The expediency of grocery delivery, and having diapers at your door, can help alleviate stress in many of our members’ daily lives, and we’re pleased to make that happen.”
