MUSKEGON, Mich., November 19, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Michigan (“Molina”) distributed 1,000 coats for infants, children and adults as part of its annual Molina Hope Free Coat Drive-thru. In addition to the giveaway, Hackley Community Care provided dental services. Muskegon Rescue Mission and Catholic Charities West Michigan shared information on community resources including affordable food, housing and more.
“Molina understands this is a challenging time for low-income families with costs rising and benefits like SNAP being paused,” said Ashley Jordan, AVP of growth and community engagement for Molina Healthcare of Michigan. “This coat giveaway not only keeps kids warm which has been proven to increase the likelihood of school attendance, but it also allows parents to use the resources they have on other critical needs.”
