Molina Healthcare of Illinois Launches Mobile Healthcare Unit to Serve Residents Throughout the State
CHICAGO, July 25, 2023 — Molina Healthcare of Illinois (“Molina”) recently launched its Molina Mobile Health Center vehicle to deliver services and support resources to residents throughout the state. The 39-foot, fully-equipped unit contains two exam rooms, a restroom, a waiting and intake area, and other medical stations. It will be staffed with medical personnel during the majority of its 20 planned stops for the duration of 2023.
The Molina Mobile Health Center vehicle will be used to encourage Illinois communities to obtain preventative health care services. The mobile unit will offer lab draws, immunizations and vaccinations, annual adult wellness exams, prenatal and postpartum visit, well-baby visits, and blood pressure screenings.
Molina recently partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Central Illinois for a series of wellness events to kick off the first six weeks of the mobile unit’s tour. As the program grows, the Molina Mobile Health Center will travel throughout Illinois to host clinic days and community events.
