Molina Healthcare of Illinois Donates $40,000 in Support of the CAP. 1908 Project
SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Sept. 28, 2022 – Molina Healthcare of Illinois (“Molina”) donated $40,000 in support of the Community Access Project at South Town Social Innovation Hub Center, also known as CAP. 1908 Project.
CAP. 1908 Innovation Center will offer small business programming solutions created to help grow the economic and social impact of east Springfield’s minority population by increasing access to resources and training designed to help individuals successfully engage with the local entrepreneurial workforce.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held:

A community festival celebrating the CAP. 1908 center will be held:

Local organizations will be on hand with information on community resources, while PCs for People will be distributing laptop computers to local residents on a first-come, first-served basis, and the Springfield Black Chamber of Commerce and The Springfield Project will be giving out bikes to school-age children on a first-come, first-served basis.
