Molina Healthcare of Illinois and MolinaCares Accord Announce COVID-19 Scholarship Program Winners

Molina Healthcare of Illinois and the MolinaCares Accord has announced the winners of the COVID-19 Scholarship program. The program is awarding ten (10) $10,000 scholarships to students who reside in Illinois and have completed their COVID-19 vaccine as of November 1, 2021. To be eligible for the scholarship program, students needed to be a resident of Illinois enrolled in a community college, university, technical or vocational school, and be fully vaccinated as of November 1, 2021. The winners of the program also needed be able to demonstrate financial need based on federal poverty guidelines.

As part of the scholarship program students were asked tell their story of how they adapted to changes during the pandemic. Applications received contained essays, stories, videos and poems.
