MIAMI, October 1, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Florida (“Molina”) announced a $16,000 donation to the Family Tree of Life Center, a nonprofit providing a foundation to parents on their birthing journey. The organization helps pregnant people through miscarriage and loss support, classes for fathers, counseling, and mentorship. Molina’s funding will support the center’s programs and help purchase essential items such as diapers, formula, prenatal vitamins, and car seats.
“We’re excited to begin this new partnership with Molina Healthcare,” said Gloria Martinez, founder and program director for Family Tree of Life Center. “Their support empowers the Tree of Life Parenting Center to reach more families with essential resources, education, and care. We look forward to the impact we’ll create together in our community.”
“Molina supports parents through pregnancy and early childhood by providing access to high-quality care, and we are proud to partner with an organization meeting the needs of growing families,” said Bill Hinsdale, plan president, Molina Healthcare of Florida. “This collaboration aligns with our holistic approach to overall well-being.”
Family Tree of Life Center houses both a parenting center and a center focusing on building self-esteem and independence for adolescent girls.
The grant is part of a recent contribution, in collaboration with the MolinaCares Accord, to six area nonprofits committed to improving birth outcomes, educational attainment, housing stability, work readiness, financial sustainability, and healthy aging.
