Molina Healthcare of Florida Provides Grant to Branches for Expansion of Financial Coaching Program

MIAMI, July 22, 2025 – Molina Healthcare of Florida (“Molina”) announced a donation of $30,000 to Branches, a Miami-Dade County nonprofit providing free financial services to individuals and families. The funding will support the organization’s financial coaching services which help over 450 Floridians each year. The grant is part of a broader investment campaign, in collaboration with the MolinaCares Accord, to six area nonprofits committed to improving birth outcomes, educational attainment, housing stability, work readiness, financial sustainability, and healthy aging.
Molina’s investment supports Branches’ Achieve Financial Wellness Program, which includes one-on-one personal coaching, financial education, entrepreneurship support, and tax preparation services. The program also connects families to other social needs services including transportation and food assistance.

Participants in Branches’ financial coaching program have averaged savings of over $4,000, reduced debt by an average of $2,500, and improved their credit scores by an average of 45 points.
