Molina Healthcare of California Presents $5,000 and Essential Supplies to 3Strands Global Foundation in Support of Human Trafficking Prevention and Survivor Services

SACRAMENTO, Calif., Oct. 23, 2026 – Molina Healthcare of California (“Molina”) recognized Make A Difference Day 2026 by supporting 3Strands Global Foundation, a Sacramento-based nonprofit dedicated to educating the community about human trafficking, supporting survivors, and empowering individuals to reclaim their lives and thrive.
As part of this initiative, the Molina team delivered more than $1,500 in essential supplies to the organization and presented a $5,000 donation to further its programs and mission of serving survivors and at-risk individuals throughout Sacramento County.
“Molina is dedicated to providing critical resources and services to vulnerable populations in our community,” said John Kotal, interim plan president | chief operating officer at Molina Healthcare of California. “We are grateful for partners like 3Strands that share this commitment to improving the health and well-being of underserved populations in California.”
Supplies donated included paper goods, hygiene products, undergarments, laundry detergent, fabric softener and non-perishable food items such as soups, oatmeal, rice, pasta and healthy snacks. In addition, Molina Sacramento team members collected lightly used clothing for the clothing boutique and closet at The Table, 3Strands Global Foundation’s wellness and empowerment center serving human trafficking survivors and individuals at risk.
