PHOENIX (March 12, 2026) Molina Healthcare of Arizona,  (“Molina”) has granted  $200,000 to Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) to expand  the Fresh for You food locker program at NOAH Midtown Health Center. The grant will fund the installation of 16 refrigerated food lockers and support a dedicated food coordinator who will help identify community members in need of food assistance. This program will increase access to fresh, healthy foods for community members in 18 zip codes surrounding the Midtown Health Center location at 4131 N. 24th Street, Suite B102, Phoenix, AZ 85016.

Funding will allow NOAH to build on the proven success of the existing program at NOAH Cholla Health Center. Since it launched in October 2023, Fresh for You food lockers have provided 4,666 boxes of fresh food, totaling nearly 130,000 pounds, to thousands of community members.

“The Fresh for You expansion demonstrates how health care extends beyond clinical services to address fundamental needs like nutrition,” said Wendy Armendariz, chief executive officer at NOAH. “Food access directly impacts health outcomes, making this expansion a key component of comprehensive patient care. We’re grateful to Molina for continuing to support this program and allowing us to serve more families.”

“This grant represents our continued investment in programs that address health-related social needs in our community,” said Minnie Andrade, plan president at Molina Healthcare of Arizona. “At Molina, we know that whole-person care means not just addressing medical needs but also providing support for all of life’s other challenges, like access to healthy food.”

The Midtown expansion extends successful partnerships with St. Mary’s Food Bank, Farm Box, and WasteNot to a new location. Construction to renovate and expand the Midtown location will begin in January 2026, with the expanded program launching in September 2026.
