BOISE, IDAHO, June 24, 2026 – The Molina Healthcare Charitable Foundation, in collaboration with Molina Healthcare of Idaho (“Molina”), has awarded $20,000 to the Idaho Living Independence Network Corporation (“LINC”) to expand access to mobility services for Idahoans living with disabilities.
In Idaho, 35 of 44 counties are designated as rural, where long travel distances and limited public transportation options can make it difficult for individuals to stay connected to their communities. For individuals with limited mobility who rely on assistive equipment, a broken device makes these challenges even more pronounced, increasing the risk of social isolation and undermining health and quality of life.
“We believe all Idahoans should be able to live with dignity, make their own choices, and fully participate in their communities,” said Sam Tiegs, Equipment Mobility Specialist at LINC. “Thanks to Molina’s support, the people we serve will be able to get repairs faster while remaining in their communities and maintaining their independence.”
Through Molina’s funding, LINC will address some of the challenges individuals with disabilities face by creating a dedicated Do-It-Yourself mobility equipment repair space in Canyon County and constructing a new mobile repair trailer, bringing services directly to rural communities. With wait times for repairs often stretching two weeks or more, this funding will help individuals get their equipment fixed faster so they can return to their daily lives.
“In many rural communities, affordable, reliable mobility equipment repair services can be out of reach for the individuals who need it most,” said Brandon Hendrickson, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Idaho. “By investing in solutions like LINC’s repair space and mobile trailer, we’re helping Idahoans living with disabilities stay active in their communities and supporting greater self-reliance.”

This partnership is part of the MolinaCares for Idaho Families initiative, a more than $250,000 investment in Idaho’s communities.
