Molina Healthcare of Nevada Reaffirms Partnership with SHARE Village Las Vegas to Support Underserved Nevadans

LAS VEGAS, June 18, 2025 — Molina Healthcare of Nevada (“Molina”) announced a $37,000 grant to SHARE Village Las Vegas, supporting the organization’s operations providing housing and basic needs for underserved members of the Las Vegas community, including over 500 veterans and families. Molina has been partnering with SHARE Village since 2022 to enhance and expand their community services.
In addition to providing transitional and permanent affordable housing, SHARE Village Las Ve-gas is a vital resource for Las Vegas residents in need. Molina’s support will help the organiza-tion continue to provide comprehensive fresh food through a community food pantry and distrib-ute emergency food boxes, feminine hygiene supplies, and pet supplies.
“With Molina’s support, we can continue to help at-risk community members like our veterans navigate resources available to them and carry out our mission of ensuring that basic needs are met,” said Arnold Stalk PhD, founder of SHARE Village Las Vegas. “We are grateful to have a partner like Molina that continues to show up for our community and shares our commitment to improving the lives of all Nevadans.”
The grant comes during Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Awareness Month in June, a time to recognize a mental health condition that disproportionately affects veterans and is associated with poor physical health. Research shows that those suffering from PTSD are more likely to engage in and benefit from treatment if they have access to stable housing, food secu-rity, and social support.
“As a veteran and VA psychiatrist, I have seen both the struggles community members face in accessing basic needs like food and housing and the foundational role they play in improving overall health and wellbeing,” said Dr. Nima Alinejad, chief medical officer of Molina Healthcare of Nevada. “Molina is thrilled to expand our longstanding partnership with SHARE Village Las Vegas to continue equipping Nevadans with the essential resources they need to thrive.”
The grant to SHARE Village is part of Molina’s community re-investment of over $700,000 to various community organizations across Nevada to improve access to care across the state.
