Molina Healthcare of New Mexico Brings Holiday Cheer to Communities Across the State Through Various Thanksgiving Events

NEW MEXICO, Dec. 17, 2024 – Molina Healthcare of New Mexico (“Molina”) helped spread some holiday cheer to individuals and families across the state through numerous events and activities leading up to Thanksgiving.
Molina distributed 250 bags complete with a turkey and all the fixings at Sanostee Chapter House Senior Center. Flu vaccinations were available, and community organizations were in attendance to provide education about the various programs available. Days later, the center held a dinner and distributed more Thanksgiving meals complete with turkeys and all the fixings for 150 people at the chapter house.
Molina and La Casa Family Health Center hosted three separate events in Roswell, Clovis and Portales providing 250 free Thanksgiving meal bags along with $15 Walmart gift cards to purchase a turkey or ham. At each event, Molina shared information on available healthcare services.
Molina hosted an event at Mesa Verde Community Center and another at Dennis Chavez Community Center in Albuquerque offering 100 free Thanksgiving meal bags at each location. Thanksgiving meal bags included cans of green beans, soup, fried French onions, mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls and ingredients to make a pumpkin pie. Flu shots were also administered.
