Molina Healthcare of Washington Donates $50,000 to Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington to Implement Teen Triple Play Program at 10 Club Locations

BELLEVUE, Wash. (October 7, 2022)Molina Healthcare of Washington (“Molina”) has committed $50,000 to Boys &  Girls Clubs of Washington to implement Triple Play, a health-focused program, at 10 club locations across the state. Triple Play focuses on addressing health and wellness through nutrition, exercise, and mental health programs that emphasize a proactive approach to one’s health and strive to involve club members in a variety of ways.   

“Molina is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of those in the communities we serve, which includes over 460,000 children and youth,” said Dr. Jay Fathi, plan president of Molina Healthcare of Washington. “We are proud to partner with Boys &  Girls Clubs of Washington to provide critical resources and support to children and youth across the state.” 

As part of their partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington, Molina is serving as Keystone Leadership Sponsor at the organization’s annual Keystone summit to be held Oct. 29 in Bellevue.  Attendees of the summit will learn new skills in community service, career preparation, outreach and academic success through workshops on topics designed to help teens grow. 

Molina is also offering free membership to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington to Molina’s Apple Health Medicaid members ages 6 to 18. Boys & Girls Clubs membership includes access to afterschool programs, meals and snacks, mentorship and programs that support healthy youth development.
